With great product comes great responsibility.

We've taken that to heart. From daily deliveries to outdoor picnics, Tasty Catering looks mean in green! Ok, maybe not mean, but we've gone green, nonetheless. Over the past several years, we have continuously implemented changes for the greater good and are committed to developing sustainable business practices by making both our products and operations more eco-friendly.

It's our earth, too. That's why we believe it's our duty to conserve and protect our environment! We have reduced our non-recyclable, non-biodegradable and non-renewable waste by taking the following initiatives:

Green Achievements
Reduced waste-to-landfill by more than 60%
Started outreach program aiding other companies on developing green business practices
Sponsor the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) government committee
Eco-Friendly Serving Products
  Plates, bowls, utensils, cups, straws
TerraPass Carbon Footprint Balance for carbon neutral deliveries
Multiple Recycling Programs
  On-site aluminum and bottle recycling
In-house recycling of all paper, aluminum,
PET plastic bottles and pallets
  Recycling of waste grease
Double-sided printing used in-house whenever possible
Plastic bowl, tray and utensil recycling
  Recycling of toner cartridges
  TerraPass carbon offsets

Develop a food and eco-friendly product composting program
Continue to increase use of locally sourced products

A recycled material has been reprocessed of old materials into new at least once, with the aim of preventing the waste of potentially useful materials while reducing energy usage and preserving the environment. This is one of the oldest green terms (30 years +) and it is not seen as much of a green term anymore. Typically, all plastics fit this description.
