TerraPass Carbon Emissions Balance helps us offset our carbon footprint. Every time our trucks leave the building to go on a picnic we contribute to global warming with the emission of carbon dioxide. In order to reduce and balance this impact, Tasty Catering has purchased a TerraPass. TerraPass is a third-party committed to reducing the equivalent of our carbon dioxide. TerraPass currently funds three different projects: clean energy produced by wind power; farm power, which makes good use of animal wastes; and landfill gas capture, which reduces the impact of our own wastes. |
