Given Tasty Catering’s wealth of experience serving the construction industry, the Tasty Catering team determined the best and safest job site areas to unload/load event supplies and hold the Bovis safety reward luncheon. Logistics planning also took into consideration the need to serve and feed 250 people in 30 minutes time. The Bovis crew members enjoyed Tasty Catering’s popular smoked and basted barbeque baby back ribs, Black Angus and veggie burgers, pure beef hot dogs, chicken breasts, salads, chips, and fresh roasted corn. Plenty of fresh, sliced watermelon and homemade cookies were also enjoyed to top off the meal.

Results

To ensure that all 250 crew members were served with enough time to eat and get back on the job, Tasty Catering set up four buffet lines with extra staff for serving. This resulted in 250 people being served lunch in less than nine minutes.

The concrete team was also rewarded, as Tasty Catering boxed lunches were brought up on the elevator to them so they could still eat during their concrete pour.

Bovis, who was not accustomed to holding safety reward luncheons, was extremely impressed with Tasty Catering’s quality and service. Bovis is now a regular customer of Tasty Catering.
