Working closely with Nissan Forklift, Tasty Catering completed an event plan that included the right entertainment and food timed perfectly to please all 800 guests in attendance. The daylong event held at Nissan Forklift’s Marengo, IL facility featured facility tours, a disc jockey and karaoke, a forklift rodeo, face painters and balloon artists, a classic car show, moon walks and a Velcro wall, Japanese drummers and a dunk tank.

Due to Tasty Catering’s superior backup planning, none of the above-mentioned entertainment needed to be cancelled when the originally planned entertainment area was turned into a flood zone. Tasty Catering turned to Plan B, which included an alternate event layout, three days prior to event day. This alternate plan still maximized space, allowed for proper people flow and ensured the safety of all attendees and event staff.

Tasty Catering’s event menu more than satisfied guests of all ages offering Black Angus and veggie burgers, pure beef hot dogs, chicken breasts, salads, chips and fresh, roasted corn. To satisfy the sweet tooth, guests enjoyed homemade cookies, snow cones, ice cream and more.

Results

Nissan Forklift 50th Anniversary event guests stayed for the entire event with plenty to see and do. Nissan Forklift customers, employees and other guests complimented the company for its ability to host a flawless event with first-class entertainment and high quality food. Tasty Catering treated guests to extra staff at each food and entertainment station ensuring the proper assistance and safety was provided.
