Challenges
- Developing a theme that would build excitement and provide a “wow” experience
- Fulfill the objectives while being fiscally responsible
- Working within a budget that had been reduced from the typical budget for this event
- Keep the event fresh, fun yet affordable
Solution

Tasty Catering presented and produced “The Scot Forge Block Party”. It was important to remind everyone that when times get tough, we can still get together and have fun. It was a simple theme, but could deliver the poignant message reminding everyone to “enjoy the simple life”.

From the client: “For 15 years, I´ve been planning these picnics, yet this is the first year using Tasty Catering. I can honestly say HANDS DOWN this is by far the best picnic yet. In planning such a big event, there are so many areas that can go wrong. Yet every team member gave 100% to keep the day running smoothly. I look forward to growing the partnership between Scot Forge and Tasty Catering!”
This event was considered a success by peers in the Event Planning industry as it received the 2010 NICE Award for Best Picnic!
