On October 4, 2014, we had the honor of hosting Ruth and Nate’s wedding at the gorgeous Danada House. The couple of honor and each of their 169 guests were all smiles in the bright open space of this Chicago wedding venue. The morning light passed through the windows as the couple said their vows, and everyone celebrated the nuptials with a relaxed all-American brunch reception.
“Love is friendship caught on fire” was certainly symbolic of the flames of joy throughout this spectacular wedding brunch reception.
Nate + Ruth’s Chicago Wedding at the Danada House
Due to the unpredictable fall weather, our professional catering staff moved the outdoor ceremony into a vast modern room of the Danada House. We always have a plan for unexpected challenges. As the bride and groom prepared to say their vows, we took care of the logistics, and Lindsey Key Design was on-site taking exquisite photos.
Daytime Wedding Décor & Design
Having the ceremony and reception indoors meant having access to the real wood-burning fireplace.
The flames brought even more warmth to the orange and gray color scheme. Rustic wooden flower boxes served as centerpieces while the stunning bouquets of garden roses and delicate succulents finished the look.
Brunch-Themed Signature Wedding Drinks
After the Saturday morning wedding ceremony, our professional bartenders were happy to get everyone’s morning off to an even better start. Alongside the piping hot Kona coffee, guests were greeted with the fresh tastes of Bloody Marys and mimosas. Binny’s Beverage Depot supplied the vodka, prosecco and Bailey’s (for a twist on the regular morning coffee), and we provided all the drink mixers.
Charming Chicago Wedding Brunch
Once guests were enjoying their favorite brunch cocktails, we started serving the traditional all-American brunch. Our first-class professional Chicago catering service kept the wedding atmosphere relaxed and stress-free.
Fresh fruit kabobs and tasty bakery-fresh muffins were the perfect appetizers to get the midday reception going. Then the weddings party and all the guests helped themselves to a delicious wedding brunch.
