What Type of Holiday Catering Is Right for You?

The seasons are passing quickly this year, and it’s never too early to start thinking about how you’ll be celebrating the holidays. Whether you’re planning the company holiday party or you’ve offered to host the family for an intimate dinner celebration, there are ways for you to bask in the joy of the season and enjoy time with your favorite people, rather than stressing about hosting your honored guests.

While it’s definitely an exciting experience to be able to plan a holiday celebration, the menu and logistics of serving a group is never an easy feat—that’s where we come in. We’ll handle the details so you can focus on the fun stuff. Here are some of our favorite ways to serve you during the holiday season:

Drop-off catering for the hassle-free holiday event

Let’s be honest; sometimes the holidays can lead to more stress than joy. Our drop-off catering team can help relieve some stress. Want us to create the menu for you? They can do that! Looking for our most popular options? Just ask! We’d be happy to help you with all your holiday needs, from placing the order to the actual arrival of the meal.

Locally sourced thanksgiving turkey on a plate

Speaking of meals, try our turkey dinner, which includes: roasted natural turkey, cornbread stuffing, classic mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, tossed garden salad, mixed bread basket and cranberry sauce. Treat your family or workmates with our new holiday menu, which features appetizers, entrees, build-your-own feasts, decadent desserts and more.

When it comes to drop-off catering, we’re all about convenience. Our professional delivery staff will deliver hot, delicious food to you in chafers or disposable pans. Our exceptional drivers are prepared to set up your meal and pick up equipment when your event is finished.

Staffed events

When it comes to whether or not your holiday event should include staff, there are some important things to consider, from guest count to event duration to time of day.

Holiday buffet with servers

We get it. You need to feed your staff in a short amount of time. Maybe you have gifts to hand out and speeches to make. If this is the case, we strongly recommend having a staffed event. Our servers can set up your holiday buffet and then serve your team straight to their plates.

Plated holiday dinner

Want your employees or guests to sit down and eat at the same time? Hoping to have tables, chairs, linens and décor? A plated dinner may be best for you.

Passed hors d’oeuvres and bar service

Some of our menus require a chef to cook, prepare or carve. If this is an experience you are looking to create at your holiday party, we would be happy to provide the experts who will bring your culinary experience to an elevated level.

If you have more than 50 guests, a staffed event may be the best option. Our on-site team can set up a gorgeous holiday buffet or plated meal with all the staples, festive linens and décor. Then we’ll provide the staff. And we can provide bar service, like that first festive specialty cocktail you receive as soon as you walk into the party.

We always recommend having a staffed event when hosting your event at a venue—especially if the venue doesn’t provide catering, bar or rentals. Our team can help set up and break down those items for you.

If there are a lot of pieces to your event like passed apps, a main meal, desserts and a coffee station, then a staffed event would most certainly be the best option. Instead of you replenishing and switching out menu items, our team can take care of replenishing the items needed and keeping food service moving along.

Don’t let the holidays become more stressful than they need to be. Enlist the help of our team to help you create the holiday party of your dreams, no matter the size or location. Contact us online or give us a call at (847) 593-2000.
